But you are correct, Chris. I support the exploitation with my $$ paid for the magazine even though I do not consume the revealing pictures. We give up way to much spiritually to gain entertainment. The cost-benefit is not in my favor!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3481308113387216224.post-39208100974886681652011-05-16T15:31:36.050-05:002011-05-16T15:31:36.050-05:00Great post! I also believe that this means that we have to refuse to "consume" the television programs that promote immodesty (which is most of them) I am constantly amazed at the inappropriate shows that Christian teens report watching. It is so hard for kids, and especially teens, to go against the grain of culture and be different. They are surrounded by it every day in school and...well, everywhere. How critical it is to get through to our daughters that they are responsible to God for their appearance, and that they have a responsibility to Christian young men to not flaunt their bodies in front of them with tight clothes. The only way to win the war against this sin is to bombard them constantly with the truth that true beauty lies within the heart and MODEL that day in and day out!Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13528094332193467516noreply@blogger.com
